EPRU Grand Challenge expanded from 32 to 36 clubs with teams competing on ‘strength versus strength’ basis

Everything is set for the delayed EPRU Grand Challenge club rugby tournament to kick off on Saturday after clubs approved a new “strength versus strength” Top 12 format.

After lengthy debate at EP’s delayed annual meeting at the weekend, it was agreed by clubs that the Grand Challenge would be expanded from 32 to 36 clubs with 12 teams competing in each of the three sections (top, middle and bottom)...
